I just can't stand the idea that if my bf would look at beautifull women with the thought of having sex with them. I don't know if he does it, and I don't want to know either, so I guess this is another female way of torturing yourself with thoughts...
Last week I was in the bus when two guys of my age were sitting behind me, and they were talking about girls. The first one said: hey did you notice that one chick, what's her name, with the black hair, she really likes you! So the other one goes: oh yeah, that Lola girl, she's so ugly man! I want a girl that looks like Liz Hurley, what a body! *drooling*
So when they passed by me to get off the bus, I really wondered how come a guy looking like Steve Buscemi (ugly) thinks someone like Liz Hurley would find him attractiv. That just pisses me off, men always have such high standards, but they never take a look at their own image in the mirror.
I'm just really glad I've found mine and don't have to throw myself into competition...

Umm, I may be misinterpreting you, but isn't that like saying that the only reason you're together with a coloured guy is because the white ones didn't want you? You and I both know that's a pretty stupid thing to say.
I'm not into fucking walking sticks. There are guys that are, but I'm not. Interpret me right, I'm not attracted to fat either, but I'd rather have a healthy woman over an obsessive image. I consider starving yourself for looks to be stupid. Also carving in yourself, or inserting plastic into your bodyparts. Stupidity is not attractive.
Of course I ooh and aah over some of these girls (Aisha, YIKES!), but give me five minutes with her and my image of her may change drastically, for better or worse.
I hate repeating myself, so this is the last time I'm saying it (at least on this topic). Either take my word for it or shut up about it, cause it gets tiresome being doubted because of your insecurity. This is what I feel, take it or leave it.

She may not get a lot of attention because her looks, but whoever said that's always a positive thing...
I'm not saying it's bad to be beautiful, but I'd take content over package any day of the week.

Just stretching it, also to sort of make the point that I've never seen the women I see in the media in real life. Maybe they're so skinny I just miss them or something.. **shrug**
I still wonder why girls ooh and aah so much less over men then men ooh and aah over women. Apart from the ocassional 14 year old boy band fan of course.
If you look at stars for example there's a much higher rate of what could be deemed as ugly men (i.e. bald, fat, non symmetrical, Steve Buscemi) in the entertainment industry then there are ugly (fat, or even of a normal weight) women in the industry. And when they're fat they usually make up for it by either being funny or a bitch (see the chick from The Practice). Do women care less or are there just more ugly men?
I do believe men sort of when they tell me they don't really like those girls, in the end I think most pressure to become/ stay thin for girls comes from other girls. No guy ever told me I was gaining a little weight and should start to exercise more, it's always girls (or the ocassional doctor **coughs**). I think it's women themselves that seem to perpetuate that myth of skin and bones.
In the end I think all women should just watch less t.v. and read less magazines and then they would feel so much better and much more realistic about themselves. **turns of t.v.**

Anwyway, the reason men Oooo and Ahhh more then women is because men are biologically wired to seek out mates more aggresively than women. Animals in other species mate with more than one partner in a single day, Human men are wired to do the same thing, we are constantly looking a girls. Does that mean we want to bang every girl we see or meet? Uhhh...no. But we are more inclined to seek out than women are because biologically we're supposed to be depositing sperm every chance we get to perpetuate the species. Women are wired more emotionally, they want their emotions pacified and THEN they're sexual apitite, Men have their sexual apitite right up front. Does this mean that men are walking around with their cocks in their hands trying to get off every second? Uh...no. We have control of ourselves, your will is stronger than any biological desire, but the inclination is still there.
And i think Manga is right in that women perpetuate the magazine and television image of artificial women. Women are the only ones who judge themselves so harshly, we dont ask women to change, we go for what we like, women take it upon themselves to want to change into the unattainable magazine or television image.
